Welcome back! We are looking forward to another successful year for the UB Stock Market Club. Our first meeting will be Monday 9/14/09 in Jacobs 112 7-8 pm. This year we will continue our meetings as well as starting up a new investment competition. We are also beginning to assemble a board as we are becoming a school of management club. At the end of the trading day I think I actually heard a collective sigh of relief as the markets closed with the largest gains on an election day. Today not only marks a historic day in politics but also as a potential turning point for the economy with the deviation from the current affairs of the Bush Administration.
