This year we are meeting every Tuesday at 7:15pm in room 210 (student union)

It's official Tim Sykes is coming to speak on Wednesday April 16th from 7-8pm in 112 Norton. This is a big event for the club so start telling everyone possible, in addition we will need help passing out flyer's that week to promote awareness to all students. More information will be given in our next meeting.

The Tournament:
In honor of the NCAA college basketball tournament we have put together a bracket of 64 stocks picked from CNBC's Fast Money that we are asking everyone to fill out and submit to me via email. The Final date to submit your bracket is SUNDAY MARCH 30. In the meeting I said friday but my computer's motherboard died on me on wednesday so I haven't been able to get the word out and put the bracket online.

The Prize Money:

Our first meeting of the semester is going to be held Wednesday at 7pm in room 210

Hey SMC Members,

This past Wednesday(12/5/07) marked the end of the first semester of the Stock Market Club and although there was not a great turnout we understand our members' obligation to their studies for finals. However, It was a GREAT first semester for SMC and I think Casey and I are really thrilled with the amount of interest and participation in the club.

We will be having our last meeting of the semester this Wednesday at 8:00 (room 210). If you’re a member it's pertinent that you come to the meeting. We will be going over what we will be doing with the virtual stock simulator over winter break. There also will be a lot of good stock ideas to buy for your portfolio and information about next semester’s events.

We will be meeting tomorrow at 7:30 in room 210 to discuss Steven Levitt's book freakonomics and then go to his event at 8:00. We will have tickets for everyone at the meeting
