The University at Buffalo's Stock Market Club

Welcome to the home of UB's stock market club. The club was started in the fall of 2007 with the goal of providing an easy channel to learn about and discuss market action and events. Registering for the site allows you to talk on the forum with other club members, create your own stock portfolio and receive e-mail updates on club activities. We are also currently running a stock simulation game that you can read about below.

Our club meets every week on Tuesday at 7:15pm in room 210 (student union). With a few rare exceptions, check out our calendar here for meetings and events.

In order to make the club run as smoothly as possible the following requirements are expected from club members:
- Attend meetings regularly
- Participate in the Investopedia competition
- Keep up to date with the stock market and the economy

Investopedia Stock Simulation Game

All members are currently participating in a stock simulator competition. You are given $100,000 in fake money to invest with. If you are new to the club please visit the site here and register a user name that is your full name so we know who is who. After that either wait until you get some stock ideas from our meetings or go ahead and start utilizing the money to create your own portfolio of stocks to compete against other members.

Here is the information you will need to join our competition after you register:
